I led a team of two to conduct the mid-term evaluation of the Caritas flood response after the heavy inundations in West-Germany in 2021. The intervention covers the phases of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation, as well as disaster risk reduction and organisational development ∙ Design: formative design with aspects from organisational theory, mixed method approach of qualitative and quantitative data collection tools ∙ Methodology: Desk Study, questionnaires, narrative and semi-structured interviews, workshops, observation.
Consultancy: M&E Support for BMU (GFA contract) – 06/2018 – 03/2021
In a team of three, I supported the Evaluation Management of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) as an expert in M&E methods. The IKI is managed by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). I was responsible for the quality management of 250 individual evaluations, the execution of cluster and strategic evaluations. As data analysis tools, I was working with the qualitative data analysis software MAXQDA ∙ sectors: Climate Change Adaptation & mitigation, REDD+, forest landscape restauration (FLR), biological diversity.

Senior Consultant to conduct the final evaluation of the Caritas intervention induced by the vast inundations in Germany in 2013.
