Consultancy: Final and formal Evaluation –  10/2025 – 09/2026
As a Team Leader of an evaution team of 3 international and 3 national evaluators, I am currently conducting the evaluation of the ToGETHER programme funded by the German Federal Forein Office. The two project phases (ToGETHER 1.0 and ToGETHER 2.0) are implemented through a consortium of four intermediaries (Welthungerhilfe, Caritas Germany, Malteser International, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe), as well as 40 Local Humanitarian Partners in eight countries. The evaluation design combines elements of an ex-post as well as formative evaluation. The design is theory based, applying approaches such as contribution analysis and outcome harvesting based on the reconstructed Theory of Change. Data collection is conducted in two countries, Colombia and Ethiopia. Data collection tools include desk study, semi-structured (expert) interviews, focus group discussions, online surveys as well as differnt workshop formats and team meetings. The data analysis will be conducted with MAXQDA. The key sectors served by this project are localisation (Grand Bargain), humanitarian coordination, and accountability.

Consultancy: Final Evaluation 05/2025 – 03/2026
As Co-Evaluator, I conducted the final evaluation of the BMZ-funded GIZ project “Green Innovation Centres in the Agriculture and Food Sector” which was conducted in 15 different countries. The design of the summative evaluation was theory-based, involving contribution analysis based on the reconstruction of the Theory of Change. The evaluation was conducted remotely. Data collection tools included a desk study, semi-structured (expert) interviews, and workshops with the project team. Data analysis comprised a meta-evaluation of evaluative studies already conducted for each of the 15 countries. The findings were triangulated with key informant interviews and secondary information. Key sectors of the project included agriculture, sustainable food systems, value chains, and innovation.
